It's Valentine's Day in Forks.
Eric, Mike and Tyler all gave me boxes of chocolate, which I dutifully passed on to Lauren, Angela, and Jessica, though not necessarily in that order.
Jessica was delighted. Angela seemed to see through my ruse and insisted I keep her box, which Charlie's enjoying in the kitchen right now. Lauren, on the other hand, seemed to want to compare gifts. She was only satisfied once she'd ensured that she had a significantly larger amount of flowers and candy than I did.
To make a long story short, I've never been more happy to see the end of a school day. Now, if only Jessica would stop calling me for advice on what to wear on her date with Mike tonight. I saw nothing wrong with the first outfit she described, let alone the next twelve.
Not that I'm thinking of using it again, but...
I wonder if, in the event that Charlie lifts my grounding, I'll be allowed back on the motorcycle or if he'll make me sell them. I think I saw him calling some people to make offers the other day, but I was in a bit of a hurry and Edward was waiting in my room, so I couldn't be sure.
Honestly, I'm not planning on using it again. It's just that, after all the work Jacob did on them, even if he was the one to show them to Charlie in the first place, it seems like a shame to just sell them.
And maybe I'm thinking of using it again.
